Reference above, AIRF had demanded to include Technical Categories of Maintenance Workshops in Production Units, including CMT Staff, Bridge Staff(both Workshop and Open Line), Radiographer and Safaiwala of Medical Department within the ambit of payment of Risk and Hardship Allowance in accordance with the corresponding degree of Risk and Hardship in these categories, however, it is noticed that, none of the above categories has been included in the report of the committee, on inclusion of fresh categories within the ambit of Risk and Hardship Allowance, communicated vide above referred to letter of the Railway Board……

Sub: Report of the Committee on inclusion of fresh categories within the ambit of Risk and Hardship Allowance – Amendments proposed by Official Side

Ref.: Railway Board’s letter No.PC-VII/2019/I/7/5/1 dated 27.08.2020

Reference above, AIRF had demanded to include Technical Categories of Maintenance Workshops in Production Units, including CMT Staff, Bridge Staff(both Workshop and Open Line), Radiographer and Safaiwala of Medical Department within the ambit of payment of Risk and Hardship Allowance in accordance with the corresponding degree of Risk and Hardship in these categories, however, it is noticed that, none of the above categories has been included in the report of the committee, on inclusion of fresh categories within the ambit of Risk and Hardship Allowance, communicated vide above referred to letter of the Railway Board.

It would be quite appropriate that, these leftover categories should also be considered to bring the same in the ambit of entitlement of Risk and Hardship Allowance, and if needs be, a meeting may also be convened to discuss the issue threadbare.
